Why I'm Voting For Kamala Harris

Kamala is an indian name that means "female camel"

Quick update: I finally quit the Wall St. reporting job in NYC and it feels like a massive weight off my shoulders.

Juggling that, the YouTube channel, and marathon training has led to several burnouts!

Writing to you guys on here and Medium is where my real passion lies.

Especially because this election will be crazy - so about that…

Kamala Harris is fun.

She’s fun like Stephen A Smith or George’s mom from Seinfeld.

She’s a tipsy Aunt who drives you to the Snoop Dogg concert or calls the opposing football team a bunch of pussies. Objectively, she is so much better than Biden regarding approval. You don’t need to be a Democrat to acknowledge that.

The fun, whimsy, and upbeat attitude has shifted from Trump to Kamala.

Kamala is just so fun! This isn’t funny though: this run for president.

Try to wrap your mind around President Kamala.

Underneath all the fun and memes, and this isn’t new or revelatory, is a soulless deep-state stooge who told immigrants “don’t come,” fought to keep non-violent black men locked up and I’m not even sure she has actual positions besides what is en vogue with the military-industrial complex.

Yet this problem is much bigger than Kamala. Here’s what I mean.

Just Say You’re a Democrat

What’s worst about Kamala isn’t Kamala. Anyone who’s focusing on her has missed the point entirely.

It’s everything and everyone surrounding her.

There’s a coterie of people surrounding her that act like they have honest left-leaning bonafides that they care about:

• Ending the Israel War

• Being humane to immigrants

• Fixing the economy for the middle class

For a year now, these people have chanted “genocide Joe” and criticized his border policies, but with Kamala, all those “convictions” are out the window.

It’s like they forget she’s the mother f’ing Vice President. So…

Why doesn’t she find a way to end the war in Israel now?

Why doesn’t she fix the economy or implement price gouging?

Why did she tell immigrants to fuck off?

Kamala isn't a leader. She is a rubber stamp on deep state policies (i.e., permanent bureaucracy). She can be replaced with a cup of air, and nothing will be different in America or overseas.

This means that 1) She can’t change these things (or doesn’t feel like it) or 2) They’re ransoming these things in exchange for your vote.

All of this should be obvious to anyone with an IQ above 90.

Kamala: “The economy is doing great under me and Biden.”

Also Kamala: “But the corporations are still raising prices and ripping you off!”

Also Kamala: No I can't do anything because republicans are blocking me. No, don't ask how I will do that if I am president.

I audibly laughed when Kamala said she would take on corporate landlords. Take them on? Do you mean take them out to dinner or a 5-star trip to the Bahamas?

“Take them on.” LOL.

Those backing Kamala Harris are about staying in the Democratic inner circle—rubbing elbows at dinners and eyeing NY Times Op-ed spots.

They aren’t radicals who give two shits about ending wars or helping immigrants.

They act like leftists, yet they aren’t. They’re Democrats.

Call yourself one. Stop pretending to care about leftist issues; you clearly don’t. You want to go to parties and keep the same friends who aren’t even your friends. You’re the true scum of the world.

I made a promise at the start of the year that I’d stop writing so many articles that made me lose all my friends and engagements (like before) but screw it.

Anyone voting for Kamala is scum, but ignorance can be overlooked; many Black and brown people have been duped into thinking anyone who isn’t a Democrat is a racist or that Michelle Obama “tells it like it is.”

It’s the same in Republican circles with those too scared to criticize AIPAC.

In your fear, alongside theirs, the nation is being destroyed.

Cowards are destroying America.

Trump’s Downward Spiral

Because Democrats are throwing money and AI-maxing everything to give Kamala the lead, Trump has spiraled.

Seeing him live, that 2016 charisma and passion have diminished. Moreover, he funded himself then; now, every Joe and Jenny bankrolls his campaign.

He also picked JD Vance for VP, who, while his book “Hillbilly Elegy” is endearing, was chosen thinking it would be a landslide victory, not a close race.

I’ll likely still vote for him if RFK Jr. drops out.

So what’s next for Trump?

My friend Gary pointed this out over dinner last night, but having been apart of several hype cycles in crypto, I think once the DNC is over and Trump actually debates Kamala the hype will end and the real race will begin.

Look at previous Trump elections:

• Trump won when Hillary was +5.5 average.

• Trump barely lost when Biden was +7.

• Kamala +1.5 avg.

This is all not to say that Trump is a perfect candidate.

Trump did not wage war against the deep state; he put many of them in positions of power. He did not close the border. He did not pardon Assange.

But he’s better than Kamala.

He’s a person with his own opinions and modus operandi.

Let’s be real: Joe Biden is better than Kamala by a mile.

Joe is a corporate slut no doubt, but he pulled off the Afghanistan exit—credit where it’s due and I think he played a major part in that.

Kamala is a person with 0 political capital. She will sit there and be a good girl and do what the deep state tells her.

And maybe this will work! Wars won't stop, but the economy might find its footing. Maybe we’ll be living inside WW3 due to the military state overstepping, but it shouldn’t be all bad!

Are we paving the way for an AI commander-in-chief? Or maybe we could get one of those Japanese pop stars to lead the country next?!

With how this country is going—being hypnotized by Brat memes and twerking competitions—I wouldn’t be surprised.
