I don't know much about Bezos but I've read up and watched enough of Vitalik to know that he lives in his own parallel Universe.

Okay, Isaiah... you've convinced me. I've read a few of your articles now, and I've decided I'm going to sign-up to write on Substack. I'm a faithful holder of 2,000,000 shiba inu; purchased at .0000101 and not letting go of it. I, too, believe it will reach at least a dollar one day; shit, even .50 would make me a millionaire on that alone. I also have 1,000 doge, purchased at .05... and while everything else on my portfolio (except my shib, which is breaking even rn) is in the red, my doge is the only one in the green - only by a few dollars rn, but I believe it will go back up. I WAS at $700 profit mid-year, last year, but decided to hold. Had originally bought into doge at a third of a penny, and made $2,000 that first month - so I sold that to purchase a truck we desperately needed, then had to buy back in at .05 but believe, it is worth it. AS FOR THE RECYCLING article... Yikes; never knew that much about plastic and its affect on the environment - very eye-opening and informative. Thank you! I, myself, now age 58, decided to get out of that 9-5 rat race two decades ago... after 26 years in the workforce, 16 of them as a legal secretary/paralegal, I began feeling like a danger on the road driving to and from work. Going in, all I thought about was how much I hated the job, and coming home, all I could think of was how tired I was of listening to people bicker over petty shit, while using children as pawns. So, I became an entrepreneur and started focusing on my writing. I always knew I was going to write a book one day (a message from the universe at age 8) and now, I have EIGHT BOOKS PUBLISHED. If you'd like to check me out, feel free: www.amazon.com/author/dbtyon you can see all my books and even take a look inside there (but if you want to buy one, contact me directly, cause I can get them at printing cost and give you a huge discount compared to Amazon's price). I also have 3 Youtube channels, which are eh, semi popular, and actually signed up with TikTok two weeks ago, at my daughters suggestion. K. That's all. I promise. Love the work you are doing; you have been a great inspiration to me. ~Dennel

God this post is so exactly what I needed to read right now. You've identified the specific reasons why the emotional performance required for a 9-5 are so exhausting. I've been in it for a couple of years, but I've about had my fill too. Thank you for this one.

It's the Babylonian Money Magic Slave System. We've been slaves since the days of the Pharaohs, but now the task master's whip has changed from leather to dollars. The only way to beat the system is to get enough money to escape. So most dream the hope of the hopeless to win Lotto, or in my case sell a screenplay, (which has slightly better odds.) or invent something. QUOTE: From "The Social Network" by the character Larry Summers, (Harvard's president), "Everyone at Harvard's inventing something. Harvard undergraduates believe that inventing a job is better than finding a job." :)
