Great summary. If you want to read another tale as rife with injustice as this one, pick up Chaos by Tom O'Neil. Everything you thought you knew about Charles Manson is false. He likely was a CIA asset just like Epstein. The number of people in high places pulling strings for him and his followers was astonishing. The number of corrupt public officials who helped is Epsteinesque. It's an elite club, and we haven't been in it for decades.
Funny I was just listening to a song that has Charles Manson in it. I always thought he was an MK-Ultra victim, no? He's a really interesting figure so I'll have to look into getting that.
Yes, you got it. It's highly likely he was part of the MKUltra program run by the CIA and Jolyon West. O'Neil connects a lot of these dots, and also unearths numerous get-out-of-jail free cards played by unidentified people in power on behalf of Manson and his followers. There's a ton of sketchy details in that book, including the fact that the trial of Manson put on by Vincent Bugliosi was a sham -- not that Manson wasn't guilty, but Bugliosi's own notes show that he was covering for other entertainment industry heavyweights. I won't spoil it any further in case you decide to pick it up.
On a side note, thanks for all your writing. You've got a good eye for selecting interesting topics. I've not seen anyone else pick up on a redacted name between Biddle and Bjorlin. If it is "Biden," though, odds are it's not "Joe Biden." ;-)
Whitney Webb’s book is on my list. I’ve been listening to Legacy of Ashes: The History of the CIA by Tim Weiner. I’m only up to Vietnam but repeatedly shocked the by the actions of the CIA. People need to wake up. Great article!

Deep state politics really is my fav branch of American history besides the formation of the nation. It's endlessly fascinating.
Wholeheartedly recommend Whitey's book, but it is a tough, long read.
Wow! Now we know why Jack and bobby had to go! They were standing in the way.
Lol yup! And famously Nixon said they would've taken me out like JFK but they got rid of me another way. Up to you to believe or not ;)
