I have been on Reddit daily since 2009. I have seen it's decline and tried to hide in the "good" subreddits while the site, as a whole, went down hill. I would love to find another site as good as reddit was before it's decline but there's not a lot of options out there
It almost seems like subgroups on the internet should revert to forums but that defeats the beauty that Reddit offered where multiple subcultures could unite under one roof so to say
Disappointed to learn about the corrupted interests influencing Reddit for the worse. Aside from the tragic Aaron Schwartz story, I didn't know Tencent or Sequoia had invested in Reddit. I also didn't know of the mass censorship and mod abuse.
