Your return, post-special forces, seems inevitable – almost necessary. A great arc just waiting to unfold. Thanks for all (I follow you since Medium), and may the road rise to meet you!
Haha a fitting arc, right? I'll keep everyone up to date on my Twitter and will def make a comeback ... one day. Thanks so much for the longtime support :)
You are probably my favorite writer tbh and Im going to miss reading YardCouch. Best of luck always. If this sounds like it was written by a bot, it was not.
Very much respect and admire the path you’re taking. Will stay on your list in case, years down the line, you have something you want to write about. Good luck on your journey. If you never end up coming back, I’ll definitely remember your name.
Isaiah, I found you on Twitter. No matter where you go, or what you do I wish you much success and prosperity... and most importantly the best of health and vitality.
I loved your work from the day I found you. It wasn't that long ago. I totally understand why you must pivot into a new direction and I'm excited for you. Please keep us up-to-date on Twitter... and find your definition of success, will you please? You've already made a small dent... I hope I'm alive long enough to see you really shine. Virtual hugs and know you have one (me) very eager admirer who will always be watching and waiting for your return. Thank you for your work. I will miss you.
Thanks Patti, this really warmed my heart to read from you. I always eagerly scroll the comments to see what you think on an article. I'll have a few more good ones left for the year. I hope you're doing well & will keep you up to date. Will miss you. :)
I'm going to miss your writing. But there is X (the former Twitter) to find you... so I'll be lurking about for updates and images from your adventures.
So now that I've discovered your brilliant self, it's time to move on. Letting go, in order for the next phase to unfold. I am touched, and am looking forward to reading your past posts. So good, so true, so spot on. thanks.

Isaiah, I will miss your writing. Always enjoyed your Hot Takes. I'm proud of the risks you've taken, both in your writing and in your life.
People and institutions will disappoint you. They'll hurt you. They'll ghost you. As you move forward, you will feel like giving up.
Don't.
Honor your parents and your family.
Honor the people who took the time and effort to build into you.
You have a brilliant mind and good heart. If you look, there are some incredibly unselfish men in the Green Berets. Seek them out. Many successful business partnerships were the outgrowths of deep friendships forged in fire during the grueling training of the Green Berets, Marines, Seals, and other elite military units.
On a personal level, remember you always have a friend in Fort Worth. One who grew up hoeing cotton in the red clay fields of Oklahoma. One who slept on the floor of a doublewide as he grew up.
And then fought his way through an Ivy-league school.
I didn't quite agree with a lot of what you said. And somethings I whole heartedly agreed with. But it was nice knowing there was some corner of the internet you were doing your thing.
Isaiah ....(my son's name as well). He LOVES his name! Anyhoo, Bro it was my pleasure to be part of your journey. I too have been wondering what will be my next chapter as I grow weary of Government/Project Management which I'm trying my best to like. I see it as somewhat a necessity, however I see a lot of bullshit too. Politics and policy seem to drag on and I just wish people would do their best with the best intentions and everything won't be perfect but it will be better. Anyhoo wishing you the best in your next chapter. I will be looking out for you. Holla at me if you visit Bermuda.
Thanks for your work, Isaiah. Sounds like a good plan, except for the Masters in Economics. I’m sure you’ll think of something more enlightening than that :)

Ditto, cause many of the Medium articles are TRASH. :(

Thanks Taegan. I'll definitely make a return to writing but have a lot of work outside of it to do for now. I'll keep everyone updated on Twitter.
Good luck. I’ve enjoyed reading your work. Mahalo from Hawaii.
