This Israel crisis is a real mask-off moment.
Ben Shapiro.
Dave Rubin.
Jordan Peterson.
Frauds.
I didn't even want to write about Israel anymore but last week Ben Shapiro attacked black conservative commentator Candace Owens for being "disgraceful."
Ben told her to quit the Daily Wire because she quoted this scripture on X:
“Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other.”
“You cannot serve both God and money. Christ is King.”
Disgraceful? Disgraceful because she wasn't a blind foaming-at-the-mouth propagandist for Israel.
What did Ben Shapiro dislike? Was it because Candace stated that Israel has killed more civilians than the entire Russia-Ukraine war, which is "disgraceful"? Or because Candace Owens argues that college students supporting Palestine aren't anti-Semitic?
Some are. No doubt.
But the majority of young people support Palestine because they know Israel has referred to killing Palestinians as "mowing the lawn," and they also know that Israel has never seriously tried to uphold a two-state solution.
It’s not a political divide for Palestinian support. It’s a generational one.
I haven't seen the world as clearly as I am right now.
Conservatives are fucking losers.
It doesn’t mean that liberals aren’t losers too; they egged on the Russia-Ukraine war after all. All this means that, once again, being a political homeless man is still the most attractive route.
Ben’s patented "facts don't care about your feelings" is a joke.
Are you telling me that after unequivocally admitting Iraq was a mistake, Libya was a mistake, Afghanistan was a mistake, that we're now willing to cheer on another genocidal crusade against Muslims to make the problem even worse, again?
It's like I always say: we remember 9/11, but we don't remember the lessons.
People like the idea of Israel but don't care about the facts.
And for others, they do care about the facts but care more about Israel as America's ally in the Middle East.
Read those two sentences again. It explains everything.
The only person I ever saw be completely candid about this is RFK Jr., who, upon realizing that Israel was an apartheid state, still held a belief that Israel was worth treating delicately because of how much value they bring as allies.
(Though how much value they bring us is debatable since they've pretty much made us their bitch through lobbying efforts and calling anyone an anti-semite who criticizes them)
But hey, at least he's honest.
So, that brings us to Ben Shapiro.
He couldn't separate his facts from his feelings.
Fine. Whatever.
But the fact that this is your brand makes you look like a hypocrite liar fascist.
Rob Reiner says HELLO.
Who cares about blue-haired liberals who want trans education in every school? Facts do care about your feelings! Black Lives Matter protestors who blame racism for everything?
Don't tell them about facts; let them lead with feelings!
I really should have stopped listening to Ben Shapiro because he wouldn’t stop begging people to get that Covid-19 shot.
Then he started crying that he’d been “tricked” into promoting it. No apology. No accountability. Just tears that it was all somebody else’s fault.
Fuck that guy.
As for grifter and serpent-like-speaking Dave Rubin, he wanted pro-Palestine protests banned in France. So much for free speech, huh Dave?
(watch comedian Tim Dillon roast Dave Rubin; it's excellent)
Lastly, Jordan Peterson, who I still have massive respect for, is just speaking out of his ass.
He's stretching thin from a man who originally started as a professor covering myths, stories, psychology, & philosophy for the betterment of young men to pontificating on every political topic as if he's an expert on it.
Lame.
Peterson is a genius who changed my life in college but I'm not sure what gives him the idea he can speak on every complex and intricate subject.
And it's the acting like an expert part that is the problem with that.
Exercise some humility goddamnit and don't act like this has been your beat for decades. So yes, we’re back to neocons at the helm.
I just hope that now I’ve joined the army I’m not the young man they’re sending to the frontline to die for some pointless war.
Fair and honest post and yes I trust your judgement by now to call it accurately. That’s why you have to keep on writing really. It makes a difference.
I appreciate that update and this
I think you might like this as well. This guy I listen to every day on personality disordered/situations and you might like to hear what he says on the situation also https://youtu.be/WiwHgmUSDSY?si=QWcOhq1drRK_wLy2
